Ben Harper....Blessed to be a Witness. This totally has changed how my mind has understoon what the word witness means. I've always associated it with the way evangelicals use it. I think that with faith being something that some people are not sure of and that some people are not sure whether or not there is a God or if Jesus was real, Ben here is saying that he is so lucky to know for sure. For whatever reason he does know in his mind that there is a God and he feels blessed to be so sure. Anyway, that's how I see the song. It's on Diamons on the Inside. Give it a spin.
