I read a review from a "rustie" and it was insane!!! I wish I could go but I just started back to work this wk and the TO show is on a Wed. I might hit Detroit...figers crossed!

I like how he said Roger did come out afterward and asked "Where's my ******* pig?!"

  • What an amazing show!!! Shine On You Crazy Diamond when right through me. The old video footage was awesome. The woman who did "Great Gig in the Sky" did it practically verbatim, note for note. And I liked his new song, "Leaving Beruit." But to hear Dark Side of the Moon done as a whole album was incredible. The man is a genius.

I saw Roger at the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, MA last Friday. What an awesome show. I was in the Pavillion and there were speakers all around so there was sound coming from every direction. the band rocked. loved hearing sheep and set the controls. could have gone for something from pros and cons but i can't complain at all. those chicks can sing. perfect sense was amazing.
  • I love The Final Cut. Too bad Waters is such an arrogant pompous twat
If it weren't for my horse, I never would have spent that year in college.
  • OMG! I'm working the Toronto show next week and I CAN'T wait!!!
    Its gonna be soooooooo good!

    Ahhh!!

    You got me psyched!!

Seeing them on the 29th at The Palace!!!

It'll be weird for me 'cause I'd miss my coughjamilycough in the crowd.

Can anyone tell me what the crowd is like?

I don't really want to put too much attention on myself with my arms flying around like crazy mary if the crowd is not like Pearl Jam's. :D;):p

  • Saw Roger Waters a few months ago in Ireland. Amazing show.

Did Nick Mason come out & play all Dark side of the moon??
    He did in Ireland.

    Good surprise.

  • Yeah, that first MSG show was amazing. You can't really compare an artist like Waters to Pearl Jam, because there's a lot more emphasis on the lights/video and most of the songs are very faithful to the album versions.

Set the Controls was hypnotic, Perfect Sense was triumphant, On the Run tripped me the fuck out, and Kilminster nailed all of Gilmour's solos, almost note for note. I liked how after Leaving Beirut, when there were a few boos, they played Sheep - because if you're still supporting the president, that's exactly what you are.
*Does not include encore of Garden and Leash.
  • Great, but did Nick Mason play??

  • Great, but did Nick Mason play??

Sorry, yeah Nick Mason did play on Dark Side and the encores. Although Waters' regular drummer stayed out there.

  • i saw the same show at hyde park calling and although it was amazing to hear DSOTM live, it wasn't the same without the others. on the way in, there was a big sign saying, "ROGER WATERS PERFORMING::HIGH LEVEL OF SERIOUSNESS IN THE AREA" kind of empathise with whoever wrote it.
