    it's not like eddie's GOING solo. he's just doing some solo shows. this guy is acting as though eddie destroyed pearl jam or something...

    exactly, the author is acting as if he broke up pearl jam and decided to have a solo career, all he's doing is a few shows. also, people brought up good points about lionel ritchie, ozzy, lennon, etc... people need to get their info straight/not do such a one sided article :rolleyes:

    who cares - she said she got off of the "pearl jam fan bus" awhile ago...

    as far as I am concerned, she is the girl that gets dragged to a concert, and then only wants to hear Jeremy and maybe "black" and talks through what she considers are the "dud" songs.


    in other words - she is the girl I threaten, and her BF is the dude I emasculate...provided she steps on my feet or spills beer on me.

    Eh, this dude is just a little ignorant.

    My favorite response is from some dude who actually thinks Creedance Clearwater REVISITED (the CCR drummer and bassist with a new lead singer) is actually better and more successful than John Fogerty is.

    John Fogerty wrote most and played a lot of the instruments on the CCR records. The bandmates were worthless hacks playing 100 state fairs a year to make $100,000. They don't record new music and just play all the songs John made famous. God, some people are morons.

    Another Point she made seemed to be that Joe Strummer and Billy Corgan were never the same. Ecspecially for Billy. What she failed to relieze is that Billy Corgan writes and records almost everything except for drums on most Pumpkins albums. And mayube it's just me but Joe Strummer saw his share of post-Clash success too
