I like it more than Working on a Dream but still not blowing me away.

The Wrestler, however, is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see that film!

Seeing Brendan O'brien in that video makes me picture him back in PJ's studio. :)

Just another generic Springsteen song although that's not a bad thing. I like this a lot more than Working On A Dream.

I'm hoping he does more songs like The Wrestler on this new album. Now there's a song. I think he might get another Oscar for that.
  • I'm really digging it. Pretty simple song, but a great melody.

See, THIS is how you do a simple pop song, Bruce. NOT like that song Workin on a Dream.

    Fun song! I like it.

  • This song is actually really awesome. It really reminds me of older Bruce (especially the voice) mixed with newer Bruce; it's a great blend.
If I could, think I would give in.

Yup. Has been since 1974. Conan is basically his side gig.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

You gotta love the mighty, mighty Max Weinberg.

Seriously, the guy is a beast. You wouldn't think so just by looking at him, but for the material that he is given, he pounds them drums gloriously. :D

    Same here....

Bit of a let down for me after the beautiful Devils & Dust which I would say remains his most overlooked album despite containing some of the greatest lyrics he's penned......

Wow another Black Cowboys fan!!!! Its such a beautiful song! Seeing the Boss do it solo accoustic was real memorable.
