Such a good album....

Quite underated in The Smiths short but incredible catalouge....

Johnny Marr sounds beautiful on this album, I'd probably argue that musically it's The Smiths' best album, it all sounds so tight.....

And the lyrics are as delicious as ever.....

I always liked 'What She Said', and 'That Joke isn't Funny Anymore'.

I still think 'The Queen is Dead' & 'Strangeways' are their best albums though.

My vote for Strangeways as well.

The Smiths were one of the best IMHO.

The lyrics of their songs....just brilliant.

I prefer The Queen Is Dead as well. Love Meat Is Murder, but the title track kinda sucks.

    Underrated?? By who?
In my circle of friends in school, it was THE Smiths album to listen to.
I would still consider it their best.

Meat is Murder was always my least favourite Smiths album. I like most of the material but it seems kind of hashed together, especially with the hundredth random inclusion of How Soon Is Now on one of their albums :p

The Queen is Dead and Strangeways are my favourite studio albums, although I think I probably like Louder than Bombs best.

Strangeways is probably my least favourite, I find the second half relatively weak.....and Meat Is Murder is far better lyrically.....

I've heard Strangeways is Moz and Marr's favourite.....

But yeah, The Queen Is Dead is my favourite record of all time :D In my opinion it is absolute perfection.....

I was sat in my local pub the other night and the bar tender there put TQID on repeat 3 times.....nothing compares, it's stunning......

Louder Than Bombs is a very strong collection.....These Things Take Time is amazing.....
