That reminds me, I must go pick it up. I've had the download for a week or so, and I've gotta say it's pretty damn good. I think Hanging Tree could be a big hit for them.

the second half is taking a while to sink in, quite slow in places, but Im sensing this record to be a grower.....

  • It's fantastic. I got it today. 'Le Ballet D'or' is as good as anything they've done.

So the only Canadian date is Toronto? That sucks.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

counting crows are so good. I just love Mr Jones and Me for some reason. I think it's the line where he sings, "we all want to be big big stars but we all got different reasons for that. Believe in me cause I don't believe in anything and I want to be someone who believes who believes.......who believes"

and the part that escapes me about being beautiful.....
Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on The Creek......

Together we will float like angels.........

In the moment that you left the room, the album started skipping, goodbye to beauty shared with the ones that you love.........

Ha ha, yeah they weren't anywhere near my favourites either. The only songs I really liked off that album were: American Girls, Miami and Up All Night.

  • as soon as I pick up my DC tickets, I'm off to pick up the new cd...the only song I have heard is Cowboy, and that was live this summer...been waiting patiently to hear it all the way through

anybody else bummed out about the tour?

I was hoping for a more intimate tour like they did back in 03...maybe after these dates are over...
    looking for 2 to Columbia...
