Because Of The Times is one of the best albums I've heard in a long while.....

    Listening to Because Of The Times has got me even more excited for the new one, cheers for the recommendation on this one, awesome album.....

    I think Knocked Up has to be both one of the best rock songs and album openers I've heard in a long while.....

    I think Knocked Up has to be both one of the best rock songs and album openers I've heard in a long while.....
    I love Knocked Up, and I love that it's so long cause whenever I listen to it I never want it to end. Arizona is another favourite of mine off that album. Oh and Ragoo because the bass line is so cool.

    It's the people on the board's recommendations for Kings of Leon that got me into these fuckers. They're totally awesome! Because of the Times, I've placed in my top 5 favorite albums ever.
    I've also started recommending this band to some of my friends, and they're loving them too!

    I heard Because of the Times first, and loved it just like you guys.

    Then I got Aha Shake Heartbreak, and now I cannot decide which one I like more.

    Highly recommend picking up Aha Shake Heartbreak!

    A lot of critics said that Because of the Times did not live up to their previous comments. I just don't see that at all: I'd take that one over the other two any day. They're good CDs, but the newest sounded much more like an experienced band.

    Be sure to check out the b-sides 'Woo Hoo' and 'Third House.' They're great as well.

    I love Because Of The Times but Aha Shake Heartbreak is one of my top 5 albums ever.
    Anyone here checking them out when they're on tour in December? I got my tix for Birmingham. I'm taking my 12 yr old daughter as she's a big fan too :)

    Agreed I got into MMJ and KOL because of this board. Sadly haven't seen either band live as pj didn't tour down here with those two bands. Great new music. Thanks. Good music still exist, the radio just doesn't play it. I don't get all the MMJ and KOL hate around here.
