Soldier Field Vinyl Is Now Mine!

So after searching for almost 9 years for it... I now have one. I got it off of craigs list in st. louis. I am a very happy camper right now. The person I bought it from asked if Kurt Cobain was alive still on the record. I had to explain to him that was the band Nirvana. To my surprise it is sealed... for about the next ten minutes until I can cook dinner and listen to it.

I just wanted to share. Happy Happy Joy Joy

    I know it's a lot, but I just had to have it. I have had the same limited edition CD from Vintage Vinyl for 8 years. I got that for free.

    I also just saw one go on EBAY today for $366.00. So I know I got lucky.

    Nice fucking FIND!!!! Way to go!!! I would open that fucker and spin it as well!!!

    That is one of the last couple that I am still missing too.

    Yah I just need binaural, live on 2 legs, mirrorball, TOTD and B Hall, but I don't think I will try for that b hall though. I also need x-mas 45's for 92, 93, 96, 97, 98. I would like to find a mad season vinyl and singles.

    I recently got the blue vinyl of Mike Watts: Ball Hog or Tug Boat for a buck.

    i can't even recall what i paid for mine back ~'97/'98, i can't even recall where i purchased it online, i believe it was from the source but i could be wrong. can't believe it's been sitting in my drawer for 10 years,...i feel old lol

    It came with a poster of the cover that is screen printed. The vinyl are also light blue marble.

    welcome to the club. i personally love my soldier field poster... i dont think anyone really likes it, but i think it's sweet. especially when framed.

    there has to be a million reprints of that thing. Seems like about 3-5 years ago, dozens of them still sealed landed on e-bay.

    there was actually 50 or so at the granite city vintage vinyl that never got handed out. I had close friends that worked there. That's how I received the cd version of the vinyl. When I got my cd there was still an unopened box of vinyls. I am sure those are long since gone since the store is now closed.

    Nice, I remember I was one of the people to win the cd. I was so stoked since I was planning on going to the show but couldnt get tickets. It was a nice suprise to get the next best thing (especially for free). God, that was so long ago that the Point was actually still cool. Good times...

    Also on the cds I have they are #00001 (or how ever many 0's there are). I dont know if they all had different #'s or not, but if mine really is the first of the copies then SWEET!!!!

    I have one. I won it from Vintage Vinyl in '95 or whenever it was. I really don't remember. The sad thing is about a week before they called my turntable died. I've never replaced it but kept soldier field LP still in plastic where it sits today next to a sealed Vitalogy. I really want to listend to it. These things are meant to be heard not to just sit in a box like I've done. If I had the equipment I would make anyone a copy that asked.

    come on out to PA and listen to mine... dont get your hopes up too much though cause it is sort of a low quality recording

    Congrats, that was my first pj show. i used to have the cd set of that awesome show but its long gone now. any idea where i can purchase that. also does anyone know if there was an official poster for the show other than the one that came with the vinyl.
