They are pretty decent metal group. Long intricate song structures and albums are pretty much conceptual.

sseing so many threas about this band recently, I went to their myspace page and tried to listen to some of their stuff.

This is not bad but their songs are full of clichés...

I have no problem with the person who asked, I'm just asking them to post it in a previous thread instead of starting ANOTHER one in addition to the countless, utterly pointless ones that you have started. The board has limited bandwidth, we aren't even allowed digressive chat in threads, never mind starting half a dozen threads about the same band with no particular variation in theme. If you want to flood a board with threads about Coheed, go to their board.

Restlesssoul, it was never my intent to make that big a deal about this band. I'm sorry for the amount of threads if that offended you. If you go back and check, I didn't start all 8 of those threads. Again, sorry to everyone if that helps. I in no way wanted my reputation to be tarnished, but if it is, then so be it. I simply voiced my opinion of a band, yes numerous times because i feel strongly about them, on an open forum. For those who feel the need to bash someone, well , so be it. Again, as much as ed talks about peace amongst each other, it amazes me that something as little as a careless thread about another rock band can stir up that much hatred. I had a nice private message from another member who also felt it was ridiculous for all the bashing of other bands. For everyone upset about the number of threads on coheed and cambria, i am sorry. I will try my best to keep my opinions to myself. For those who pm me with their support, you know who you are, I give you my sincerest thanks. I do understand now why ed, mike, jeff, and the rest of the band stay away from the message pit. There is a lot of negativity, complaining, etc. Thats all got, hope you guys can accept my apology.

No one wants an apology. We just want to stop seeing threads about Coheed. I agree there was a lot of negativity towards you recently, but did you really not expect that to happen? People don't like absurdity, and your pushing of Coheed upon the board was absurd to say the least. One thread filled with pleading for more people to enjoy the band was enough.
