Love that song you posted over in the SONG BREAK thread. I posted on a music board I moderate.

    Nice.

I just learned how to play it on a guitar...sounds bad, I think they do some strange tuning, but yeah, great song.

Rise Against are a phenomenal band. I really like their new album.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Man I wish I could play the guitar and I tried playing my daughter's yesterday but she covered her ears. :) Then took it from me and started to play a song she wrote 3 years ago.

    Peace

yeah for sure, me too. I really didn't get into them until after their hardcore phase, but going back that was pretty good too.

I got into them with Siren Song of the Counter Culture. The Sufferer and the Witness is my favorite of theirs though. It's funny, each time I've seen them live, they haven't been the headliner, but they've blown the headliner off the stage. Incredible energy.

I've only heard their first single from their last album.

I actually listened to a radio interview with them a couple months ago and they said they try really hard to make each album different. But I thought the new song would have fit perfectly with their last few hits...

Anyways, I think some of the music is pretty good... some... but I don't like the singer...
