    I wasn't that interested untill QOTSA joined the line up. QOTSA are touring at the moemnt, so I really didn't expect them to be doing the full festival circuit... maybe they will. RATM are playing Antwerp the next night and I have tickets... but it's been a while since I went to a festival, so now I'm seriously thinking about it. Tickets go on sale on Friday.

    Fuck Ireland and the UK - overpriced shit festivals! Go to a festival in another country, will be well worth it! Novarock, Pinkpop, Rock am Ring etc all have pretty decent line-ups!

    I'd rather just go to a headlining act at their own gig.

    They get a longer set and you can get up pretty close.

    I don't think they suck, but I think as I get on abit, I need some space either side of a festival to have time to fully relax into it. I think trying to do a festival for one day sucks... I like the idea of giving yourself over to the rock and roll beast for 3 days...

    i must admit, that out of all the festivals, this one has one of the poorer lineups I've seen. I reckon everyone in the world has seen Metallica and the Foo Fighters at least once.

    Okay - Last minute decision a Metallica fan is driving down with me on the Friday - which for me is the worst day, but I'm going to do it anyway - now I just need to convince people to go on the other days - anyone going?
