saw them for the second time last night at the Download Festival at the Tweeter in Camden - even though they only played for like an hour and 15 it was a hell of a show...got down into the pit, first time i'd been there at the Tweeter...dead center in front of Brandon. it was really sick.

they are an excellent live band. sucks they played for such a short amount of time.
  • I just borrowed both Killer discs from a friend, just giving them their first spend these next few days. So far I like the 1st one.

They are very much just an "ok" band.

I randomly decided to look up their setlists a few days ago. Their almost all identical. Its basically 15 songs then 3 more. One show I saw they did they played 10 songs then 5 songs. I laughed. Sorry but that just gives me the impression of "Ok bye I have more important things to do."

The Killers sound great live. The shows may run a little short, but they've only got 2 albums worth of material to work with. Definitely looking forward to their new album. I think I read that it will be out before the end of the year.

Saw them at the Borgata the night before. If it wasnt for the crowd (which was mainly made up of women if cocktail dresses and their macho idiot tool boyfriends screaming "play mr brightside!") it would have been amazing

Anyone got link to setlists? Seeing them at Leeds Festival.

If Brandon Flowers fancies himself as a 21st century Bruce Springsteen then he needs to nail the live act down as well. Talking about burning down highways and getting out of two dollar towns ain't gonna cut it!

i really really like the Killers. i thought the first half of Hot Fuss was good (plus Midnight Show) and i loved Sam's Town even though most hated it. Sawdust was hit or miss for me... but it's a bsides record! loved All The Pretty Faces, Move Away, Daddy's Eyes, Romeo and Juliet, Tranquilize and Shadowplay. oh, and Don't Shoot Me Santa is a Christmas classic for me. can't wait for the new one.

I loved their debut but was utterly disappointed with their second record. Saw them live once at a festival and they played almost the entire 2nd record and not enough from the 1st one, needless to say that I was disapointed.

something thats only struck me recently is that some of Flowers' lyrics are immense.

    Andy You're A Star
Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine

    in particular.

Great live band, and notably improving with every tour (and the addition of the 5th live member)

I havent had a chance to see them live yet but i love the killers. They are a dark, edgy band without all the emo bullshit.
