I suppose he is on my mind so much because these days he seems to have stepped back into the spotlight a bit.
Two questions;
1) Have any of you read TARANTULA?
What did you think if you have?
2) Have you ever felt frustrated that because of a lack of knowledge of poets, poetry, 60's pop culture etc. that you were somehow not "getting it" completely? I'm definitely a fan, but the more I get into his music, the more I wish I knew what he was writing about, but I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the copious amounts of history and culture references that color his writing. Anybody feel the same way or have any reccommendations?
