Kindof a Caravaggio-esque take on an imaginary meeting of Neil Young and a young Eddie Vedder... hope everyone likes!

    Haha...great job there!

But Neil was only in his 20's when Ed was in his pre-teens in the early 70's!

Old Man look at my life, I'm a lot like you.
24 and there's so much more.

Um, no. Neil was born in 1945 and Ed in 1964. :)

It's great, but it scares the crap out of me.
  • Great Job on the painting! I thought your PJ contest Poster for the 20th Anniversary show in Chicago was sweet looked like something I would want on my wall. I really liked how you did the lettering both forward and backwards...unique idea!!!! Keep up the great work!

haha... the lettering on that was actually a total mistake that i went with... was in a hurry when i made the first block print and totally forgot to write it all backwards... but im glad you liked it too :D

thanks everyone for the kind words!

i probably still have a little work to do on it... but i thought id get some feedback... since someone said it scared them, the lighting is clearly still a lil harsh on eds face... and might treat the wall behind them too...

I immediately thought of Henry Ossawa Tanner, the great African American artist.

awesome. you get a print of it and send it to Ed care of 10c. maybe he would sign it and get NY to sign it also . haha doubt it, but would be awesome. lol

    anyway, very very cool.

nice work - really warm and its great to see something like this out of someone's imagination - its one thing to get a picca in your head, but is hard to get it out and onto paper for other people to see.

... same as a song, no doubt.

and yea - ed looks a bit too happy, but you should send a print in - if it ever did get in front of him no doubt it'd make him smile wide then ;)
