Marc Bolan 30th anniversary thread

It's his anniversary on the 16th. I remember Bolan when I was little. He was supposed to be in decline in the mid seventies, but he was still a total icon. I even recall his TV show, Marc, that he did before he died. When I look back, and really try to think of a band that summed up the seventies for me, it had to be T Rex.

    Well, I will help keep it alive. I am a Bolan/T.Rex fan. Where would Bowie and all the others be without Bolan. Nobody was writing lyrics like he was.
