I saw them couple of nights a go. They only played hour and a half. However they played all the hits. But I still felt robbed or I guess i am spoilt by attending so many Pearl jam concerts. The show in ottawa they played like 31 songs. I dont see many other bands doing that.

I know like 20 people who went to see them in Toronto. My roomate said they were good, but nothing too too special. He got here some of his favourite songs though. He gave it a 7/10.
  • I saw them a couple of years ago. I love their first 2-3 albums, but was very disappointed in their live performance. They have earned their reputation for putting on the same show every night, not changing the setlist, and Liam just stands in the same spot, never interacting with the audience or the band. It's like he's chained to the mic stand. That's probably my biggest complaint, that they never even acknowledged that they were playing in front of an audience. They came out, played, and left.

I would agree. But still hour and a half from a band of that stature is not enough.

Agreed.. but be happy you got that much. I got the two of them fighting and a show cut short when they opened their tour back in Philly like 5 or 6 years ago. I was pissed.. still enjoy the band though.. great fucking music

Never seen them live, but IMO they are a fantastic band. One of my favourites.

Never cared for them, I guess I couldn't get over the whole "bigger than the Beatles" ego thing. Bout time I let it go I suppose.........................................................................................................................................................................................................nah.

That Oasis show at the Ampitheatre in June '05 had some amazing energy to it...Much like the Ampitheatre show I saw when Pearl Jam played there in '03. Possibly the best version of "Release" I have ever heard.

Anyone see Noel on the cover of the Toronto Sun today with his girlfriend?

Did they play "Stop Crying Your Heart Out"? I am going to the show Sunday and promised to call my friend when I heard the song. Its her fave song ever.
  • My title pretty much says it all. Oasis blows now and though their first few albums were good, they will NEVER, EVER touch a band like PJ. EVER...

I had an awesome time at the show, had great seats, loved the songs, loved the venue, got to see the band after the show............cant ask for anything more realistically

By the way, for the guy that asked about Stop Crying Your Heart Out.....I would have loved to hear it too but they wont play that at shows, they use the same setlist for the whole gig

    ...that you saw oasis...ewwwww...

  • Oasis is fantastic, especially if you can ignore the attitudes of the Brothers Gallagher and focus on the music. Both "Heathen Chemistry" and "Don't Believe The Truth" are much better albums than people give them credit for.

I saw Oasis in June 2005 in Mansfield, MA (Boston). The concert was awesome. Liam was in a surprisingly good mood that night. It was professionally video taped for possible DVD release. I hope so!!

I was really impressed with the redwalls too.

pjoasisrule, was it just me or did it seem like Noel wasn't that into the show. He seemed distracted and pissed off. Maybe it was just me

  • I just saw Oasis in Milwaukee. The music was good, the crowd was great, but the band put nothing into it. They seemed board, almost like they were mocking the crowd, it pissed me off. I still enjoyed the showed, but i dont think i would pay to see them again. Loved The Redwalls

He definitely seemed pissed the whole night, even after the show. I found it odd that he wore a jacket the whole entire time up there. He barely looked up at the crowd at all...I didnt even get any decent photos with him looking up. After the show he seemed like he was on something and still pissed off, he signed autographs and had a chat for less than a minute and then he walked off

  • i saw them in buffalo about five years ago, when they played with the black crows. It was a pretty good show. Liam yelled at a guy in the front for dancing like an ass. i got a kick out of that.
    I like bands.
