Anyone else heard about this?

Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo) and Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) have provided the soundtrack to the upcoming documentary One Fast Move and I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur.

The only Kerouac I've read is On the Road, but being a huge book lover I'm always curious about this sort of thing. I have the feeling I'll pick up Big Sur in the coming months.

I'm having trouble imagining what Farrar and Gibbard will sound like together if they share vocals on any of the pieces, but I'm really looking forward to hearing the music. Apparently lyrics are all taken directly from Kerouac's work - love that concept. I'm not really a fan of Death Cab for Cutie, but I can tell this is definitely up Jay's alley.
