    Some great choices there. I was at that 12/1/03 show and that Wolfman's rules. Good call on that monster 12/9/95 YEM. From 4/3/98 you should also out up the "Don't let Carini get you" Antelope. That jam is insanity.

    you wouldn't happen to know where to find the concert where Phish plays the entire Beatles' White Album would you? I had it on my old computer but can't find it now

    They played that show right near here, Glens Falls, NY. I wasn't there but I heard it was a trip.

    I wasn't there but yeah it's a great show. The White Album part is cool and all, but the highlites for me are Julius, Divided Sky and Reba. All top notch versions.

    all phish phans know, that whenever a phish thread gets started on a board that is not a phish board, there will be drug/hippie comments from haters. surprised it took so long. it's really just about damn good music though. to each their own...

    by the way that "2001" up there has a sweet frampton "do you feel like i do" jam in it. funky good stuff...

    I agree that it's all about the music, but Phish have some frat boy fans too. Unfortunately taste in music doesn't always translate into quality individual.

    Exactly. Just because someone's musical tastes are different from yours doesn't mean that they are automatically grouped into some general stereotype. I'm not a huge Phish fan, but I'm not going to bag on everyone that is. The fact is this: with any semi-popular band you are going to get the fans that think their band is better that everyone else's and will sink to stupid depths to prove that point. Just live and let live people. All this hating is not worth the time or energy. If you don't like Phish don't listen to Phish. Pretty fucking simple huh?

    I used to really like Phish... or at least I tried to really like Phish... saw them live in '94, but I was bored out of my mind, but I kept finding myself hanging out with people (who I (still) like a lot) who liked the band, so I tried again... Farmhouse was ok, but nothing great... I like some of their studio records... some of the songs at least... Rift is a good record.

    Just can't do them live unless I'm really stoned and really bored. :-/


    (all of the people that made me like Phish never listen to them anymore at all tho... :) I have a bunch of Phish cassettes that one friend left at my house... there should be something fun to do with those...)


    I will say, also, that Phish is WAAAAYYYY better than the Grateful Dead. I hate the Dead with a passion. But Widespread Panic is the worst of all the bands with that sound... Phish is definitely on the top of the heap.
