just curious. how long does it take you guys to download stuff off the net?
i am talking music of course.

    Kind of a vague question. Are you speaking of a single song or an entire album. Depending where you get it from and your connection speed the times will vary drastically. Typically I can get an entire album in around 10 minutes give or take.
    I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

    1 album, about 1-3 minutes, depending on how new it is. Older ones might take 5 or 10

    Depends from where you're getting it, what program you're using, how super your pc is, and how fast your connection is.

    Unless it's an album of MIDI backing tracks to rare Bavarian clogdances, from emule. It could take six months.

    I started in late evening, it DL'd and then I had to convert the torrent, but I was done by early morning.

    it's 3:55pm here in sydney and it's 68% downloaded. i swear on the heads of my children that it's been at it since around 9:30 this morning. when it said it'd take 9 hours i thought it was joking. i'm not laughing right now i can tell you.

    so it's 8:19 pm here and my computer just told me the file i was downloading was unable to be downloaded because it had timed out. now i don't exactly know what the fuck that means. alls i do know is my patience will have to hold out another 7 days until i can go and buy 10,000 days just like everybody else. after nearly 11 hours i've got squat.

    i'm not trying again. i'll just have to be patient until next friday night.
    i'm going to a gig that night and the record shop(that's Utopia Records) across the road from the venue is selling it from midnight friday 28th april. SCORE!!!!!
    listening to TOOL on my home in the dead of night. very appropriate i feel.
