played my neck of the woods yesterday but didnt catch them. heard they are pretty amazing and have been playing for 20 years.

I feel they came out at the wrong time, if they came out 10 years earlier or later, they'd be much bigger. I mean think about it ... if George Best or Bizarro came out when Bloc Party or Franz Ferdinand hit it big, they'd be huge. But, they came out while the US was going from hair metal to grunge.
And because people want something new or fresh, they aren't going to pay attention to a band with 7 albums out. Which is a shame, because they are great.
Coincidentally, I just picked up their latest (El Rey) this weekend ... first listen, great album. Thought their last album was fantastic (see Ringway to Seatac below) ... they are killer live, sadly, missed them this time though.
