I love this. Its awesome how bands are stepping up. They dont say "we will release an album in a year" anymore. Bands just suddenly announce they will release one in 10 days, as in the case of Radiohead, or a few weeks as the Raconteurs did, the Conor Oberst solo album was the same. Nine Inch Nails as well.

And now a bloc party record in 3 days.

As much as people moan about how stupid "illegal downloading" is, bands are stepping up and doing unique things now.

    This is really how it should be. I hate when a band goes into the studio in march and releases the album in september. It's cause of stuff like that that music gets leaked. If the album is recorded just release the damn thing and tour behind it and for god's sake come to Phoenix.
    I’ve seen Pearl Jam 25 times, Eddie Vedder 9 times, and Brad once.
