Can someone recommend me some good bands similar to Augustana, the Fray, Five for Fighting, and additionally maybe some bands along the lines of Counting Crows (pre 1997, meaning music similar to that found on August and Everything After, and Recovering the Satellites), Keane, and the Wallflowers. I guess I am looking for maybe piano based rock/pop, or just anything in the vein of the above listed bands. Good rock/pop. Emotional pop music maybe would be the classification.
Thanks in advance

  • maybe Lifehouse? I saw them this summer as an opening act. They were pretty good.

This band are brilliant, I highly recommend their records Villa Elaine and The Golden Hum.

Not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for, but it's the best I could think of!
  • How about James Blunt?
