Musically speaking has 2007 been better than 2006?

We all know 2006 was great, avocado came out, new Chili Peppers, new Ben Harper, new Uncle neil, new tool.
but 2007 seems to be damn good as well. We have had new Bruce, new Arcade Fire, new Bloc Party, new Bruce, new Radiohead, new Ben Harper, new Modest Mouse, new shins,
And we arent even through with

07 has had some good albums, just not by my fave band.
The newest Modest Mouse and In Rainbows are pretty awesome though.
But 2007 pulls ahead with: Animal Collective, The Arcade Fire, Beirut, Bloc Party, Feist, Francois Virot, Frog Eyes, Great Lake Swimmers, Handsome Furs, Joel Plaskett, Low, Matthew Good, Menomena, Modest Mouse, The National, New Pornographers, The Polyphonic Spree, Radiohead, Rufus Wainwright, Ryan Adams, The Shins, Spoon, Stars, Tegan & Sara, Wilco, Wintersleep.
That sums up my take pretty nicely. Thanks.

Modest Mouse
Arcade Fire
Nine Inch Nails
White Stripes
Radiohead (shaping up to be a classic)
At least I cant remember the last time there was such a great year for music. Many of this year's albums aren't just good, they are great.
