    timothy leary's dead
    oh no no no
    he's outside,
    lookin' in..

    the original cosmic rockers!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

I love Seventh Sojourn. I still have to pick up the rest of their albums however.

    Isn’t life strange
    A turn of the page
    Can read like before
    Can we ask for more?
    Each day passes by
    How hard man will try?
    The sea will not wait
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back there you were, and here we are.

    Isn’t love strange
    A word we arrange
    With no thought or care
    Maker of despair
    Each breath that we breathe
    With love we must weave
    To make us as one
You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry -

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
Looking back there you were, and here we are.

    Isn’t life strange
    A turn of the page
    A book without light
    Unless with love we write;
    To throw it away
    To lose just a day
    The quicksand of time
You know it makes me want to cry

Wished I could be in your heart
To be one with your love
Wished I could be in your eyes
    Looking back there you were:
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,

I love the Moody Blues. One of the bands I was raised on, along with The Beatles and Doors. It amazes me how little credit they receive. Wonderful musicians with so many incredible songs.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Love em! Brings back good memories! Don't know much of their later stuff though. :)
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."
  • yeah, i was also raised on the moody blues. they were my first concert when i was in 1st grade. so cool. they get no credit. i have no idea how they aren't in the rock and roll hall of fame. every good boy deserves a favor is amazing. as is most of their stuff.

Hell yes. It is about time someone gave recognition to these guys on this board!! Thank you. I am 23 years old and have seen the band 2 times. The first time I saw them, I was 12 and was extremely spoiled (the band played a show with the entire Houston Symthony Orchestra backing them. I t was phenominal. I saw them this past June 2004 on the Lovely to see you tour without the orchestra and again they rocked. They have so many good songs.
Here are some of my faves:
    Tuesday afternoon
    Nights in white Satin
    Queston
    For my Lady
    Legend of a mind
    Timothy Leary
The voice... Just to name a few.
There were supposed to release a dvd called Lovely to see you, does anyone know if the dvd actually surfaced or was it just an audio recording?

I love "go now". Was their guitarist the same fella who played in Wings?
