I am into seeing bands I havent seen this summer. PJ and Ben Harper are two bands I have tickets for.

I really want to hit up the June 18 Shoreline date.

Are the black crowes decent live?

I have all their cd's, they have a certain jam band, zeppelin, doors type feel to them I like.

    the crowes are...AWESOME live.

best i've seen, i was 2nd row(ish) GA for them in AC (Borgata) and it was mindblowing.

PJ is going to blow them away tho the 3 times i see em this summer since I now have 10c tickets.

I saw them at theTLA in Philly, very small venue, totally rocked. It was one of the top 3 concerts I have seen, and I've seen a lot of shows.

Chris Robinson was unbelievable. This is one band I recommend seeing up close, if you can.

I've seen them 11 times. My 2nd favorite band. Very similar to PJ in that they change up the set lists every night, don't just play the hits and extend some songs out to long jam sessions. Great band!

Saw them at the Nascar All-Star race in Charlotte last year and they were pretty good but only were given 1 hour of stage time. I enjoyed it (main reason I even went to the race). My wife also enjoyed it though I suspect it was because she got to see Kate Hudson at the side of the stage for the show.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Black crowes put on a great show. Seen them 4-5 times the best one being up at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State. Great show, lots of interaction, one of the few great rock n roll bands left that is in its prime still. Still dreaming for black crowes pearl jam lineup.

Went with a couple of close friends to see them on the Tour of Brotherly Love with Spacehog, Oasis, and Black Crowes headlining the tour. Very sweet show. It was a few days after they released "Lions" and that album kicks ass; they played quite a few songs that night that were new that I totally remembered when I heard them on the CD.

I saw them with petty last summer in chicago and i thought they were boring.

Far too many jams and only really played one hit (hard to handle).

After being a fan for a while I first saw them with Jimmy Page after they put out live at the greek and again for the Lions tour - both excellent shows. Was supposed to see their singer's solo show in 2004 but when he got to the venue he didn't like the size of it and got back on the bus and took off - I've harbored a gruge ever since

They are good, but every time I've seen them (twice), they haven't played anything that anyone in the audience knew. Most people were generally pissed because they didn't know any of the songs.

they are pretty good live, but, they are not the BLack Crowes that the casual fan remembers from "Shake your moneymaker" the current act features several long boring extended jams while the Robinson brothers dance around like over medicated Jefferson Airplane fans.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

I was in the front row for that show....fully agree! although, they did play Remedy at that show.....

Petty was very good.....The Robinsons really came off as full of themselves and, sorry to repeat, but looked like over medicated Jefferson Airplane concert goers circa 1969.

I got the chance to meet Chris Robinson (solo), however I have seen them twice and they rock. If you get the chance to go, dont pass it up.
