  • He just did a show at my college! I went and didnt know any of his songs really, and it was amazinggg. at least for what i expected. He played a pretty long 2 hourish set. he did this awesome thing where he was sitting at the drum kit with a bass guitar and played both at the same time along with hitting the bass with the drum sticks.

theres only three people in his band....so dont know why its ben folds five

Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner is one of my all-time favorite albums. Mess, Army, Don't Change Your Plans. . .great songs. Ben's first solo album, Rockin the Suburbs is also outstanding. I didn't care for his last solo effort as much.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

Ben Folds Five broke up some time ago (although it only had three members. It's a joke). It is just Ben and his touring band now.

Search out the single 'Common People' by William Shatner (yes, Captain Kirk). Ben Folds is on it, and Joe Jackson. It's a hell of a cover of the Pulp song, and more than makes up for his cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I loved Ben Folds Five. Folds can write anything from a catchy pop song to a ballad. I think I played 'Whatever and Ever Amen' (second studio album) so much that I wore it out. Their first album, which is self-titled, is my favorite album by the trio. It can be hard to find because most places like Best Buy, etc. don't carry it.

The name of the band was a joke. Ben Folds said that it sounded better than the Ben Folds Three and it also gave the connotation of folding in poker....

Anyone seeing Ben on his current Paper Airplane Request Tour? I've got tickets to see him in August. Setlists look pretty fun and eclectic so far.

I do not have tickets for this, but saw his paper airplanes tour back in 2017 or 2018 I think? It was a lot of fun and the set lists were pretty great. The airplane moment is pretty cool. A fun idea!

Songs for Silverman album still sounds as fresh as it did in 2005.
