Anyone a fan of her work. Just sparse music, very powerful though.

Her work speaks to alot of what I have been listening to lately, just introspective/reflective music like Elliot Smith, Damien Rice, Iron and Wine, Nick Drake, Death Cab, Modest Mouse.
Music that focuses on feelings and emotions rather than politics and slogans

Her song Maybe Not is beautiful. Its about not necessarily trying to strive for world peace, but peace of mind, in your own mind, while everything is going on.

The song "names" is mindblowing, she recounts abuse of 5 different individuals, and chillingly suggests she doesnt know what happened to anyone of them.

Eddie provided brief background vocals in one of her songs on You Are Free album, and does the guitar work on that track.

I caught her live at the Austin City Limits Festival last year and she is phenomenal. Great songs and powerful live persona.

I like the direction she is heading on The Greatest, with the 'soul revue' backing sound. Fits her voice well.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

"The Greatest" and "You Are Free" are both great albums. I haven't gotten into "Moon Pix" as much.
