ATTN: all 10c members from outside the tri-state area that got tickets to MSG
Words cannot describe my animosity towards you right now. Go ahead and flame me for not wanting you at the MSG shows, but how the fuck would you like it if there were thousands upon thousands of out of state people trying to get tickets to the venue closest to you? In case you couldn't tell, I'm from NY (born and raised) and didn't get tickets.

First PJ Show: March 20, 1994 | Ann Arbor | Crisler Arena
I dealt with it for the ed vedder solo shows in my hometown and you should too. what did you expect???? i got shut out in vancouver, but tried for TM and it all worked out....
good luck in the TM sale.
Guilty as charged.
I know I'd be pretty pissed if they were playing the Civic Center again here in SF and I didn't get a pair ... so, your anger is understood ...
Just keep an eye out ... spares pop up ... TM still hasn't sold thier tickets either. You never know, perhaps one of these out of towners won't have a person to go with, and perhaps their 10c number is far lower than yours ... and they'll take you ... and you'll be much closer than you ever would have had you scored tickets.
It's far from over.
"I don't believe in damn curses. Wake up the damn Bambino and have me face him. Maybe I'll drill him in the ass." --- Pedro Martinez
and I don't think it's the out of towners anyways..... a high concentration of fans in that area.... all within a 4 hr drive....
it's happened to me a few times already.
just one of the downsides of living in the greatest city in the world. everyone wants a piece.
This is the funniest shit Ive read in a while......Perhaps you should go down to the corner market and get some cheese to go with your wine!
I think you're using these words to describe your animosity:

He's right, I'm in Jersey and I'm in driving range of DC, Camden, NYC, Boston, & Hartford.
Lots of people, little area.
all my hopes, anger, pride and shame...
Does the tri-state area include Philly??? Cause if not.. I got MSG1 tickets.
Sorry hope you get some thru TM.

Social awareness does not equal political activism!
5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
I am sorry that you got shut out of your hometown show. Believe me...I know your pain. I got shut out of the Vic & it is less than a mile from my house! I stood outside all day of the show, too, to no avail. You can hate me all you want for getting tickets to MSG even though I am from Chicago, but I see it as vindication for my terrible Vic experience. Plus, I am really looking forward to traveling to NYC to see the show and spend some time with close friends. Again, I am sorry, but this shit can happen to any of us.
i understand your anger....but
if by chance you dont get tickets from ticketmaster....
there will be spare tickets offered on this board in the next couple months...
there always are...people go solo to these shows....people back out....plans change....
trust me....you will see extra tickets offered here....
and good luck....i hope you get your tickets...
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Keep your hopes up. Maybe you'll get tickets afterall.

Come is a verb"
I went all the way to Toronto to see them from Georgia so hop on a plane and enjoy some Florida sunshine for one those shows.
Contrary to the conventional wisdom, not all New Yorkers are hot-tempered schmucks who would just as soon push you out of the way to get ahead of you. I too was born and raised here.
The East Coast and NYC are very fortunate to have these guys come through as often as they've had--makes sense becuase of the dense population. For those fans in Iowa, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Utah etc that drool each time they hear the band keep returning to the more densely populated east coast, don't deny them their chance to come out and see them just because they live in the sticks.
With my luck if I ever have to leave Colorado, PJ will be playing Red Rocks right after I am gone.
Here here. They haven't played in Phoenix since '03. I have no choice but to travel to see my favorite band.
And I was also born and raised in NYC, lived there until I was 28 years old and I admit that I am a hot tempered schmuck-ette who would push you out of the way to get what I want. I was shut out of MSG1, so right now I want MSG tix. Look out!!
