He always needs a new thread every few months.

One of the artists that never appears on any top 100 or top 10 list, but has had a profound effect on music.

Place to Be remains the song that defines my frame of mind currently. And is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

Nick Drake rocks!

"Pink Moon" is such a depressing album.

Wonderful artist with such emotional songs.

really?? Nick Drake is one of the most critically revered artists I can think of. maybe in his lifetime he was underappreciated but now he is always mentioned.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

    Substitute depressing with beautiful.
  • "Road" makes for a great little early morning fingerpicking workout. EADEBE, capo on second fret.
