He always needs a new thread every few months.

One of the artists that never appears on any top 100 or top 10 list, but has had a profound effect on music.

Place to Be remains the song that defines my frame of mind currently. And is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

    really?? Nick Drake is one of the most critically revered artists I can think of. maybe in his lifetime he was underappreciated but now he is always mentioned.

    I'm pretty sure Pink Moon was included in the top half of Channel 4's "100 Greatest Albums" about 6 months ago

    i like how Boris (power trio sludge/doom band from Japan) paid homage to Drake on their album Akuma no Uta.
