Ted Nugent is an idiot

He physically threatened Obama and Clinton even going as far as sayign he wanted to kill them.

I personally could care less about Obama, Clinton or even Ted Nugent. I frankly hate all 3 of them. And it will be a cold day in hell when I vote for obama or Clinton.

That said, why is this not front page news? Did his fans throw crap at him, like those ignorant hicks in Uniondale when ed spoke out against bush and the war?

Did the media and radio stations ban his music from the radio and stage "cd stompings and burnings" like in the case of the Dixie Chicks?

Did the media focus on what was said and replay it over and over as they did when Rage took the stage at Coachella and Zack said something that I agree with 100 percent that the president should be tried, shot and hung?

Why is it only the left wing and radical musicians who have to face the fire of their words? Why not focus on the words of republican musicians?

    Quite frankly, I think it's because Nugent is no longer relevant (if he ever was). He's a cartoon character.

    Sure he has a hardcore group of followers, but if you go to his web-site and check out his current tour you'll see a list of "intimate" venues, state fairs, and casinos.

    --The Dixie Chicks are winning Grammys.
    --Pearl Jam is kickin' ass on Letterman and selling out arenas.
    --And even Rage Against the Machine, who have always been on the fringe, frighten people because they're genuine.

    Nugent, like his brethren from the '70s-- KISS, is a vaudeville act. It's tough to take him seriously.

    Ted made some good music in the 70's (Double Live Gonzo, always been a fav of mine).
    Luckily we've never got much more than the music in the UK. Whenever I have read or heard an interview with the man, I've always come away thinking he's a bit of a bell-end! IMO.
