Saw them back in the late '70's.
Great music but one of the most boring shows I have ever seen.

    RIP Benjamin.

  • I thought their first two LP's were brilliant. After that, not so much. The songs on Heartbeat City were good but that awful Mutt Lange porduction just sucks the life out of everything.

I know. Just look what he's done to Shania Twain.

I cannot believe Tood Rundgren stepped in for Ric for this "The New Cars" crap that's going on right now ... horseshit in my opinion ...

I don't think they ever had gas. It was a silly band.

You must be in the wrong thread then. The OP was asking for
    fans of the band.

I saw them in 1978 with Foreigner.

I used to be their fan. I was sad when B.O. died.

Drive is "our tune" for my wife and I .

Yes , I know it's not a romantic song , but when we first met it was always one of the smoochies at the end of the night in every club/disco ; and because I didn't have a car then , we had a running gag going about her driving me home .
