Death Cab for Cutie, Brooklyn, June 10 2008.

I had raised my expectations because people whose taste I trust had raved about the show. I don't know if it was the heat, the guitars, the mood, the storm... but everything that could go wrong did. By one hour into the show it was so bad I was happy they called it off and sent us home.

They should have cancelled though, I feel ripped off a little.
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

Sorry to hear about your night- especially considering that venue usually has good shows. So did they just stop suddenly or somethig? I feel like you should get money back.

Well, they did play for an hour or so. Then the wind started being really strong and they basically just fled the stage halfway through crooked teeth. But even before, Ben kept having guitar issues. He must have changed 10, and finally just smashed one Who style :). It was also so hot he sounded out of breath at times.

I think I'll stick to listening Death Cab CDs in the future!

I'd be embarrassed as an artist to not give a refund for this. Or maybe tix to a future show or something. I know its not there fault but come on you gotta take care of the fans.

At least the organizers could offer tix to a future McCarren Park show.

Death Cab for Cutie, are a terrible band. Bad singing. Bad lyrics, all round crap.
