Whats with the Who

I know they are going on tour and have a new album coming out but i also heard there are going to release a 9 song mini opera cd, anyone know what this is about?

    Yeah I think they said in August, with a proper full length album coming out after that. :)

    from what i understand, the mini opera is only 11 min and is just abbreviated versions of the a few songs that will be on the album proper in october...not really worth hunting down(considering it doesnt look like itll be released in the US) unless you really cant wait

    It is like an EP and is already released on UK Itunes. Cannot get it here yet. It is called Wire and Glass and it will be part of their upcoming album. They probably released it because they are touring and want to start selling something while they are on the road. My guess is they were slow in releasing to coincide with the tour and this is an effort to get people to go buy some of their music now.
