Gomez: A's, B's & Rarities

Gomez recently released a double album of singles and rare stuff (sort of like Lost Dogs). I like to sample music on the iTunes store (Gomez is one of my favourite bands so I'm getting the album regardless even though I've pretty much got everything on the compilation) and this album on the site apparently has a bunch of defective tracks on the second disc. There's a lot of scratches and skips so something went screwy at some point. My question is about the actual physical CDs and if this problem is not only on the digital version but also on the actual CDs you can buy in the store. Has anyone purchased this and know what I'm talking about? I'm not even sure if they're aware of it or how long it'd take to fix the problem. Minor problem, I know, but I just wanted to check since people around here are usually pretty good with this sort of thing. Thanks...
