4 Sonic Youth Fans

I had the pleasure of seeing the band this past friday and saturday in brooklyn. And my god they were so good. If you didn't catch them opening for pearl jam this past tour you should try to go see them, because they are sounding better than they ever have.

i have some photos and videos of teen age riot and the world looks red up.

    Damn, I knew I should have gone to the pool. I saw SY in SF opening for PJ and they were great. Wow, that's a lot of abbreviations.

    I went to The Roots too - left a comment on your blog. Great site BTW.

    i was at the friday show. i loved it but have two complaints- the crowd wasn't into it and they played too much of the new cd. it was my first time seeing them so I wanted to hear some of the classics. i love the new album though too so i still enjoyed it.

    i think the crowd wasn't into it because most of the crowd was there to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
    Saturdays crowd was a lot better because Sonic Youth was the headliner.

    I caught them opening for PJ in LA and SB and they were a highlight of the end for me they were great. First time I had saw them live before. The new stuff sounded great.

    I saw them a couple months ago for the second time. Great show here in atlanta.

    I understand them wanting to play a lot of their new stuff, with the vast catologe they have i wish they would play longer sets so you coudl get a few more of those classics.
