Here's a collection of really cool music from Ethiopia. There's a series of about 20 CD's from different genres and man, I like all of them. Between my neighbors and I, we've ordered all of them and the mailman is starting to bring them in!

Number 4 the jazz one, is one of my favorites, as well as #3 and 14 but they all are great.

    there is a thread a few down about eMusic recommendations. I hope you put this in there. It will get me to remind myself to check this out.

    I have grabbed a couple of the Konono No 1 releases and I find them very cool.

    Oh man, Transplant. I wasn't even thinking about Emusic when I was looking for a site to listen to them, now that you told me, I'll be searching all around there!

    I have spent quite a bit of money in there. Seriously though, if you do join, post in the above thread. everybody in there has an open mind and we seem to have most genres covered, except for... 'world' so your expertise :) would be welcomed.
