Ahh..so nice to see that a 'Canadian' tour doesn't include the east coast. We were getting a little spoiled the last little while with PJ here, the Rolling Stones....nice to get back to reality. ;-)

Is this just Chris and his Bro (Brothers of a Feather Tour), or is it the full band? Anyone?

Saw them in Asheville a couple of weeks ago - awesome.

Got the new DVD from the Fillmore shows - great sound, great picture. Mostly greatest hits but highly recommend - Soul Singing and acoustic A Diamond Cursed sweet.

Well I'd personally like to thank the black crowes for skipping over Saskatchewan like most bands do. Getting Pearl Jam was definitely the provinces music hightlight of the decade.
    Which came first,
the bad idea or me befallen by it?

They are also playing a little auditorium in Thunder Bay on May 11. Unfortunately (???) I will be in Toronto attending some other concerts that week so I will miss a good show in my hometown.

I have heard a few of their songs, but not a lot. Is this worth going to?

Maybe Matt can convince the Crowes that Canada doesn't end in Ontario. I'd love to see these guys, but don't feel like driving for eighteen hours to do so.

    Consider yourselfs lucky.

MOST "coast to coast" tours end in Halifax. Like Nova Scotia is the end of the country. WHAT ABOUT NEWFOUNDLAND?

A least Pearl Jam did it right. They had to add another show because it was sold out in 2 hours, and the second was sold out in another 3. They could have filled mile one for a third show! go pj!

But it's bullshit. so fuck NS, and NB you have nothing to complain about. We get one descent act maybe... well I think Pearl Jam was the first one. Unless you like bon jovi.... yeah that's what I thought. Pearl Jam was the first one.

Collective soul came a month after. they would have been descent... if they didn't think the city was called Saint John.

    fuckin idiots.

but yeah! Come back PJ! we rocked the boat with you and we'd love to do it again!

I drove up from the Twin Cities to see PJ in Thunder Bay but I'm thinking I'm gonna pass on doing that for the Crowes since I'm driving down to Chicago just a few days later for PJ. Too much driving and too much money to be spent if I go to both.

Minneapolis/St Paul is my second home. I drive down there about 10 times a year for hockey games and concerts. See you there in July for the Pearl Jam show.
