So far this is pretty standard trippy Thom stuff. I mean, the dude has an H in his name, WTF? Yeah sounds like Amnesiac part II. But kid A and amnesiac are my 2 fav radiohead records, so its pretty cool. It'll take awhile to grow on me though.

naah...like outontheporch said, its more piano based/electronica stuff..probably the closest RH album to it is amnesiac.

    solid album.
I've seen so many people try and copy Eddie Vedder's voice. It's as if if you don't sound like him you're not a man. - Emmett Roslan

i wasn't aware it was out yet, last email i got from waste about it was that it was gonna be released 'at some time' but weren't sure when
    standin above the crowd
he had a voice that was strong and loud and
i swallowed his facade cos i'm so
    eager to identify with
    someone above the crowd
someone who seemed to feel the same
someone prepared to lead the way

Comes out next month, but it has leaked.
Yeah I'll have to give it a few more listens, played it for the first time last night and enjoyed it, and I'm more of a Bends fan than Amnesiac.:)

  • it's a pretty impressive accomplishment considering all of it is coming from thom. there is definitely a lot of stuff going on in terms of beats, guitar, piano, etc....although most of it is purely electronica. i think you just kind of have to take it for what it is. if anything, it's something to hold us over until a new radiohead album. you definitely get the feeling something is lacking after listening to the yorke solo record. you kind of expect johnny greenwood's guitar to come in somewhere or actual drums or sections of just piano. regardless, there are some good songs here and it is definitely a record that needs time to be digested
