With all the talk about Pearl Jam hitting Bonnaroo, now there are rumours of Led Zeppelin and Metallica (well Zeppelin has been around for a bit now).

Is this possible?

I would think so. I mean I really don’t want Metallica there, but if you compare the others to 2007 I think Zep would cost the same as the Police. I remember reading somewhere that the Police were ridiculously expensive.

And I can't see how PJ could cost more than Tool. If so not by much - my guess anyways.

that would be the biggest line up of all time I would think.. Zeppelin and either one of those would be massive. Is it workable though.... Is it too big?

I guarantee PJ and Metallica won't be there. I can see one being there, but I can't see both.

If this is the case it sucks that Metallica will be there and PJ won't.

i will only attend this if
    (1) PEARL JAM are there

    (2) LED ZEPPELIN are there ,if only one is schedule i won't make this trip

metallica plays no part in my decision i could care less about them .....

Don't worry... neither will be there.

Metallica have already issued a statement that it's completely false and we know good and well that PJ won't be there.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... whatever nix... If Pearl Jam is there, I'll be there... the less bands there people like (led zepp, metallica, etc) the better... How bout just a fuckin pearl jam show, with Pearl Jam and an opener... as long as it isn't S-k!

Yeah, I don't believe it. But wouldn't that be the shit. God, please let Led Zeppelin Rock like ageless gods and tour America. Amen.
bombs, dropping down, please forgive our hometown
  • I'm not going to get too excited about this, but damn. Ok, Metallica sucks, but Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam, are my two favorite bands. I would probably just get too excited and pass out.

Why so many haters of metallica? i agree many pj fans don't like to much metal rock. st anger was an really bad album , yes, and what about Load, Master of puppets, Black Album, Justice for all?

Metallica would be in the top 10 metal bands ever easily......
  • that lineup would be too fucking huge. i can't imagine the ticket fiasco that would cause. people would seriously be selling there babies.
me you wouldn't recall, cause i'm not my former.

I disagree. I think 2008 is finally the year that Pearl Jam plays Bonnaroo.
