I found a really interesting band recently and figured I would let others see what they think. They're called Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams. They've been around for a while. Based out of New York. They put out an excellent album in 2001 called Flapjacks From The Sky. Some of their influences include Dylan, The Who, Tom Petty and Pink Floyd. In fact the New York times described them as the "Hillbilly Pink Floyd" They do some amazing Dylan covers. Check out "Gates of Eden" on You Tube. They also have a song called "Talkin' To The Buddah" that's epic. Give them a listen, I was blown away! Here's a link to their page on Wiki. You can listen to a few of their songs on My Space as well.
