Ed dropped a bunch of references to Ian MacKaye and the Evens at the DC show...
Had a great time in Mt Pleasant, even though I heard it wasn't anymore
Also, All those Governors was played over the PA after the show.
Great band if anyone is interested.

Saw the Evens last night in Albany, NY.

is the new album as good as the first? because that was genuinely, shockingly awesome. also, are the warmers worth checking out? I was surprised, not only that amy farina's vocals went with MacKaye's, but also that the dude can not only sing but harmonise!
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -

It's still the same band, but they changed things around so it isn't exactly the same as the first, so it's a little more challenging, but still great.
I don't know too much about the warmers, but I will have to check them out.Teamwork. Rawk. Pwnage. Infinite Possibilities. YIELD. Hells yeah.0 -
I'm going to see them at a free show in DC on Monday...They're playing after Joe Lally, so it should be interesting...0
