Seein these guys next Wednesday in Lancaster.
Good, kind-of, Fugazi sound goin on.
Maybe a little too "emo-ish" for my tastes, but ought to be a good show.
Anyone seen them before?

I can see that.
I mean, for a Wednesday night in Lancaster, can't beat it anyway.
There's a video of them doing "The Recluse"
Thought I'd share.
Plus some art school girls...
Doors opened at six, and the openers must have gone on right at 6.
Got there around 7:45 and both opening bands were done.
Must've been a wedsnesday night curfew thing.
Cursive came on at 8 - kicked into some real good, pushing music that I didn't know. 8 piece band at times - trumpet, sax, trombone, cello, two guitas, bass, drums...
busy
Finally they got into The Ugly Organ a little bit.
Everyone went nuts at the Recluse.
Then they played some not so great stuff.
Little encore - two minutes
Came back, some more Organ.
Finished on a ten minute jam of "Art is hard" - everyone having a nice little solo, bass and drums poudning the whole time.
It was HOT in there. The band was passing out water/throwing it on the kids in the pit the whole time.
This show, 21+ was upstairs, so all the kids were on the floor. I was sweating balls back on the balcony, so...they had a good time, we all did.
everyone got out of there real fast after the show though...was looking to stick around.
the new cursive album is as good as/better than the ugly organ
