New Velvet Revolver Clips

I'm sorry, but I am very much looking forward to this record after hearing these clips. I still think Scott Weiland is a great talent and hope he keeps himself going. These sound a lot more STP than GNR.

Slash and Duff fucked up by not releasing the songs that Izzy helped write for them.
Say what you want about Velvet Revolver (they're above average, not great imo) but NO ONE in GnR has fucked up more often, or more significantly than Axl Rose.
Has everyone seen the live clips from VR's South American tour? Pro-shot and all that loveliness.

Axl may be fucked in the head but he knows how to write a good tune. I like the guitar solo on "Let It Roll" by the way... too bad the song sucks. Weiland singing "Let it Roll, Daddy-O" is just embarrassing. Since we live in a day in age where a shit band like Wolfmother can become popular I'm guessing Velvet Revolver will do alright with this album.
I don't know - I've listened to the new clips from Chinese Democracy, and while it's better than I expected, it's not exactly mindblowing. And Better is the only one I could even attempt to hum the melody of, so I'm not sure how memorable the songs are (though I do recall There Was A Time having a frankly terrible chorus). Plus, every leaked track seems to be fairly overblown, and while I love that side of Guns (esp. Estranged), I also want to hear if they can do It's So Easy-style stuff well.
The simple fact, as far as I can tell, is that neither the VR boys, nor Axl, are as good without the other.
Libertad is one of my most anticipated albums this summer along with Carry On and Icky Thump.
i agree
Some die just to live.
