SF Shepard Fairey Fans?

Hey, I've got a big huge mutually beneficial favor to ask you.
I don't know what you're doing Sept. 13, but Shepard Fairey (I hope you've heard of him - the guy behind Obey, etc) is appearing with Z Trip (awesome DJ) at the Milk Bar in SF. It's an exhibition of new Fairey works, as well as a live show. That's all fine and good, but the first 100 ppl in the door will receive a signed copy of his Obama/Hope poster. That's fucking awesome, and to show you my level of excitement I actually spent the past ten minutes trying to find a way to fly up there from LA and go myself. But that's just crazy.

It's bound to be a great time, and I'll gladly pay your $20 admisssssssion fee and all that, for a small favor. Hell, I'll buy you a drink too, if you go (and get there early!) and pick up a poster for me.

I know, it's kind of a weird request, but I'd absolutely love one of those posters, especially one signed by Fairey (one of my heroes).

If you have a paypal acct I could transfer that shit right in, including shipping fees for the poster. Hell, if it'll sweeten the deal, I could probably even be talked out of one of my SoCal PJ tour posters from '03.

    I'll do it for $1000....plus expenses

    that's only half what that poster will bring on the secondary market.

    why does it always have to come down to money??? :( what about Art just cause we like it?

    but that poster will be of tremendous high demand and I'm sure there will be a line started for that poster a day or so before the event opens.
