question about The Who and other "deluxe" CD releases...

I'm looking to finally pick up Quadrophenia (I'm a procrastinator). Does anyone know if they are ever going to re-master it or release it as a 2-disc "Deluxe" release like they did for Who's Next and My Generation? Is the sound quality ok on the original 2 disc release or should I wait?

Also, does anyone have any of the Marvin Gaye Deluxe releases, for Let's Get It On and What's Goin' On? Is it worth spending $30 for these, or are the $8.99 single disc remasters the way to go?
No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

Get the original of any album you can, its better than the "remastered" bullshit. Don't worry about deluxe anything, most people only buy those when they're they only option.

The Who remasters are awful - some of the worst remastering jobs I've ever heard - I would stick with the original discs. If you're into vinyl there is Who series on Classic Records that is simply mindblowing.
