ok so this is in case anyone has found or knows of a place where the new hold steady record has leaked. Odds are it will be the album of the year so we best be prepared

Has it actually leaked or are you just hoping? I`d love to get some new Hold steady, checking them out at Rams Head Live in June. Bookending my beach trip to MD with the DC show Sunday night and Hold Steady the following Friday in Baltimore

I read a review of it today in uncut... so promos or webstreams are out there. Way too much lead time on that Cd, no reason to wait until July.
The Man has a branch office in each of our brains, his corporate emblem is a white albatross, each local rep has a cover known as the Ego, and their mission in this world is Bad Shit.

Sounds like they went further down the anthem-based sound of the first few tracks on Boys & Girls, I can't wait to hear the new album. B&GIA was great and my favorite tracks were the over the top early tracks.

Why, because he doesn't go on stage trying to be cool or someone he isn't? The guy is very entertaining to watch no matter how much of a nerd he looks like. He looks like he's having the time of his life on stage. I can't wait until they tour near me again soon - they're very fun to see live.

an unapologetic display of white nerdiness at its best, I love it and find it inspiring that he doesn't put on a bullshit front

and I don't see how he and Tim Delaughter could be mentioned in the same sentence.
"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"

When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.

I don't personally, but I can see what you mean, he's not to everybodys taste. I was shocked to find out his age (late 30s?) becuase all of the lyrics he writes sound like they're written by a teengager/early 20s (in a good way)

    Great links.

Do you know where I can download Sequestered In Memphis? I don't think the song is avaliable in the UK ITunes store yet. It's a shame, becuase I would happily pay the money for it.
