I had to sell my farging tickets last year because of timing problems, but it sounded to be the best Lolla deal in quite a while ... here is pre-info from my subscribers email ... if you want to go, i HIGHLY recommend getting on the list, because last year you got a pair of 2 DAY TICKETS for $70 TOTAL ... this time its 3 DAYS, but those $70pairs were $300 retail by the end of the sales.

just doing my part to promote for Grandpa Perry. :D

Parkways Foundation Presents
Lollapalooza
One Big, Beautiful Show

We Lollapa-Luv You.
Lollapalooza is back in Chicago.
August 4-6, 2006 * Grant Park
3 days. 8 stages. 130 bands.
Hey, Valentine, remember last summer, when you went to Grant Park and all those bands played and you ate all that food and everyone was sweaty and happy? And then you told your friends about it and they were like, "No way," and you were like "Really, like 70 bands," and they were like, "I gotta go next year," and you were like, "duh." So now you and about 65,000 other music fans are heroes. This year, you can invite a lot more friends, because it's going to be even better, expanding to three days, more than 130 acts, and a bigger expanse in Grant Park.

Listen closely. As a subscriber, you will very soon get in on an insane ticket deal that will make parts of you spin. ONLY LOLLAPALOOZA E-LIST SUBSCRIBERS WILL GET THIS OFFER. Make sure you visit lollapalooza.com often, check your email, and make sure and tell your family, friends, co-workers, and support groups to subscribe to the Lollapalooza e-newsletter.

Stay alert. Love is in the air.

I'm really glad I went last year, it was an awesome festival, even with the 102 degree heat.

With the Coachella rumors proving untrue, Lollapalooza is now the rumored return of the Smashing Pumpkins. We'll have to wait and see...

  • What I find most interesting about Lollapalooza this year it all the speculation surrounding the reforming of the Smashing Pumpkins. A huge festival in their hometown would be a great place to make a return if those rumors are true.
