Has anyone seen them on their current tour? I saw them a couple of nites ago and thought it might have been the coolest and strangest concert I have ever been to. Just curious to who else has seen them this tour.

I was to their show in Oslo Nov 2nd last year.

It was one of the most beatiful things I've ever been present at. The venue was a concert hall, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I dunno if they did that at your show, but at the one I went to, they just stopped for a full minute in the middle of a song, and you could just hear the non-sound of several thousand people holding their breaths trying their utmost not to make a sound.

One of my best concert experiences ever!

Where did you see them at? I know they played a sold out show in Nashville the other night. While I don't know a lot about them, I do like the songs I've heard.

I saw them this past Saturday night. Sounded great -- I loved how the sound level would kick in at certain points during select songs for maximum emphasis...also, way to close a show.

I saw them in Louisville. I actually live in Nashville, but went to Louisville to see them.

I just recently started casually listening to them, but I admire their sound. I'm actually headed to Nashville on Saturday to see the Truckers at the Mercury Lounge.

I like their CDs, but I definately appreciate them more after seeing them live. It a completely different feel than any concert Ive ever been too, almost like your at a play or something. But really cool.

The truckers should be a good show, have fun at that.
  • I know it's a cliche but honestly they really bore me.

I can see that...I have to be in the right mood to listen to them.

i LOVE their cds... but after seeing them twice on past tours (and hopefully a third time this summer) i almost want to throw away the studio albums because they just don't compare to the awesomeness that is sigur ros live...

  • I think this band is awful.

  • I listen to them a few times a year, sometimes the mood just strikes me and its the greatest thing in the world, other times I just really have no desire to hear them at all.

I would love to see them live though, unfortunately they never seem to make it to Florida. They always play a few shows in Georgia, and other nearby states but they never make it down here.
