I've loved P4P since their inception. I was 12, and barely making up for the years lost with Jane's Addiction. I heard Porno For Pyros out of my brothers room for a few weeks after the release of the self titled album, and never looked back. I had the luxury of seeing them live in '96 in Toronto. Enoughs enough. Check this out:
I got to see them w/ Mike Watt filling in on bass. And then I met the whole band afterwards. They were absolutely toast. We were waiting for them to come out and one of the roadies came up to me and my friend and asked "you guys ever been inside of a bong before?". We were like huh? And he goes "'cuz that's what it is like in there right now", referring to backstage. Too funny. A few minutes later they all come stumbling out.
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
Great band. Pete Distefano is an amzing guitarist. He has three solo albums out now and they're all worth checking out. Supposedly they have an entire third album written that they've just never gotten around to recording.
I have one album and I really like that one. Very nice album that will allow you to chill out in a easy chair or give you a good pace will driving your car. It also makes for a great summer album, I reccommand Good god's urge to everyone.

I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»
For anyone on the fence - show was fantastic. The band is playing very well and seem to be having a lot of fun. Mike Watt on bass is always a treat. Perry is still ‘as Perry’ as ever - delightful and talented frontman but quite far out at times.
On the merch side they also sell fully signed posters for a reasonable price.

Can you see me now
I am myself
Like you somehow
I'll ride the wave
Where it takes me
I'll hold the pain
Release me
