Great album, easily Rancid's best in my opinion.
I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.

Definitely Rancid's best. Freeman's bass solo on Maxwell Murder never fails to blow me away.
It makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

    life wont wait
9 times out of 10, Life Wont Wait will make my top 10 deserted island CD's. Words cannot describe how much I love that CD.

And out come the Wolves is my second fav from 'em.

    Amazing album.

Jim Carroll's spoken word bit on Junkie Man sends shivers down my spine.

This album, Nofx's Punk In Drublic, Bad Religion's Stranger Than Fiction, Face to Face's self-titled album, Pennywise's About Time, and Descendents' Everything Sucks made for some damn good mid-90's punk rock!

Fuck yes! You damn near just listed the soundtrack to my 12-and13-year-old life.

Agree 'Out Comes the Wolves..." is their best, but does anyone else dig the Self Titled (Rancid 2000) album? I never get sick of it. It's just brutally loud, fast, rough around the edges, and raw.

This...and Unwritten Law's Blue Room. Maybe throw some Sprung Monkey and No Use For A Name in there as well.

Just saw them play this album in full at riot fest chicago last year. Had a blast even though armstrong could barely scraggle out the words.
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.

100% agree, their best two and for different reasons.
Not even a big punk fan but I love me some Rancid. The great thing about those albums is the replayability. You can literally listen to them over and over and never get sick of them.
I know Rancid are far from underrated in the punk scene but I always thought they never got the mainstream love they shoulda received that instead went to (in my opinion) lesser bands like Green Day and The Offspring.
